Yes. As a member of the Travel Trust Association, Hidden Cultures has links with many travel companies from beach and skiing holidays to cruises. We also often beat the internet’s main booking sites with accommodation so even if you just need a bed for the night, we can help out.

Hidden Cultures uses Worldpay, so you can pay for your holiday over the phone using a debit or credit card. At present we do not accept American Express. Alternatively, you can pay using BACS.

Following a booking, you will receive several confirmation e-mails from Hidden Cultures which will vary from being sent immediately to 72 hours after booking.
An ATOL certificate – Hidden Cultures is ATOL protected (ATOL number 11491). If you do not book your flight with Hidden Cultures, ATOL protection is not relevant so we will not provide you with a certificate. For more information about the ATOL scheme, please visit their website: www.caa.co.uk
Stand Alone Safe Seat Plan Guarantee – this is a notification from the Travel Trust Association (TTA) of your financial protection. This is not the same as travel insurance. For further details please click here to see the TTA’s Consumer Protection FAQs.
Booking form: If you’ve booked online, you will not receive this. However, anybody who has booked by e-mail or over the phone will need to fill in this booking form. Please send the form to Hidden Cultures, 26 Mingle Lane, Cambridge, CB22 5SY when you can or attach it to an e-mail and send it to email@example.com
Booking confirmations: once payment has been made, we’ll send you your booking confirmations shortly afterwards. If you do not receive the confirmations within 2 working days of paying for the holiday, please call us on 01223 455 171 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
Invoice/Receipt: we will send you a final invoice after you’ve paid the deposit.
It is essential that you have travel insurance. This is stated in our terms and conditions. Hidden Cultures can offer 5% discounts with an insurance company called Citybond Suretravel. Please go to www.suretravel.co.uk and at the top of the website where it says Referral Code, please type in HCL05. This will give you the discount.
Depending upon who you are flying with, each passenger will be entitled to bring one large hold bag. This usually equates to 23kg per-passenger but you should check with the airline.
Hidden Cultures likes to welcome everybody and its partners on the ground are very professional. However, due to the nature of trying to find a region’s Hidden Cultures, there will be a certain amount of walking. Yes. The further ahead you book, the better. If for example you are a group learning a foreign language, we can ask the guides to tailor the trip slightly so that you get to practise using it. Depending upon availability and group numbers, we may also be able to give groups a discount. Please get in touch for more information.
If you’re travelling alone, there will be a single supplement just to cover the cost of the hotels. Please see the details of each trip for further details. Hidden Cultures does not profit from single supplements.
Yes. If you’d rather arrange your own flights to a destination, we will offer you a discount.

Hidden Cultures has a phone number customers can use whilst they are abroad. This can be used for emergencies, but it will also have WhatsApp which we encourage customers to use for anything at all: suggestions, complaints or recommendations throughout the trip. This will be provided to you in your booking confirmations and final itinerary.
